Terms of Agreement

Welcome to Kinetic Notes. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Agreement. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the service.

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information at registration and to keep it current.
• One account per person. Don't share your login with others.

Everything you create in Kinetic Notes — notes, attachments, projects, study cards — is your content. You own it, and you control it.

• Your content stays private to your account and is never shared or sold.
• You're free to export or delete your content at any time.
• We process your content only to provide the features you request (for example, generating study cards from a note you choose).

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or its security.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the service beyond your own account.

Some features use AI to generate study cards, key takeaways, or suggestions based on your note content. These outputs are tools to support your learning, not professional advice. You remain responsible for reviewing any AI-generated material before relying on it.

We work hard to keep Kinetic Notes reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. Beta features may change or be removed as we learn and improve.

You retain all rights to the content you create. The Kinetic Notes service — its design, branding, and software — is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy or redistribute the service itself.

Kinetic Notes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. You use the service at your own risk.

You can stop using Kinetic Notes and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends.

We may revise these Terms as the service grows. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
